The agreement was signed on 20 October 2026. It sets up a framework for the two companies to work together where that helps customers. Businesses that trade across borders increasingly face e-invoicing, interoperability and tax reporting rules that differ from country to country. At EU level, the VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) package will introduce digital reporting requirements based on e-invoicing for cross-border B2B transactions from July 2030. Through the alliance, Logiq and Unimaze can combine their technical, network and regulatory expertise to help customers handle this more easily.
The alliance rests on a rigorous mutual assessment. Each company has reviewed the other's platform, regulatory expertise and delivery quality. When customers need e-invoicing or compliance support in a country or area beyond one company's current coverage, they can be referred to the other with confidence. The recommended partner has demonstrated the same standards of quality, security and compliance that customers already expect.
Logiq and Unimaze will remain independent companies. Each will continue to develop its own services and serve its own customers, and customers are always free to choose the provider that suits them best. Through the alliance, customers gain direct access to e-invoicing and compliance expertise across the markets covered by both companies.
Logiq's CEO, Troels Hansen, comments:
“Our customers increasingly operate internationally, and they expect their e-invoicing and EDI flows to work just as smoothly in a new market as they do at home. Recommending another provider to our customers is not something we do lightly. We have done it here because we trust Unimaze's expertise, their compliance work, and their customer focus.”
Friðbjörn Hólm Ólafsson, CEO of Unimaze, adds:
“E-invoicing in Europe is changing quickly, and regulation is now a major driver of adoption. Businesses need partners who understand both the technology and the local requirements. Logiq has built a strong digital trade network and a reputation for reliable delivery, which makes them a natural partner for us. Together, we can give customers on both sides access to proven expertise and local insight in markets beyond their own provider's coverage.”
